Ric Tredwin, Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC)
Owner/Wealth Advisor
Owner/Wealth Advisor
I have worked in banking and wealth management for 30 years. For 11 years I served as a commercial banker and lender for Wells Fargo in Northern New Mexico, working from Santa Fe to Taos and east to Raton. During that time, I started the Taos Housing Fund to work on affordable housing, and I served on the Board of Directors for the Taos Entrepreneurial Network where I supported new business owners during their start up phase.
I spent a 15-year tenure with Edward Jones in Taos and then in Albuquerque. During that time I was in the top 10% nationally for customer service and I mentored six new advisors into the industry, serving as a coach with the firm. I am passionate about bringing in new and young professionals into the financial industry. I believe in continuous learning to meet the best needs of my clients. In 2021, I launched my own independent firm with LPL Financial in partnership with my wife, Kelley. Together we put our clients’ needs first.
I serve clients and their families across northern New Mexico and in 27 states. I know that my clients have families across the country and I work across the country to build inter-generational relationships with families. Transferring wealth, managing multi-generational wealth is a challenge that I take on actively. Managing wealth is a family-affair. I love working with clients, especially those with complex situations that often accompany our money.
I am a native of Yorkshire, England. I immigrated to the states in the mid-eighties, graduated from the University of Connecticut and found my path to New Mexico shortly thereafter. I love cars and art and long hikes with my dog. I have four project cars, a 1979 Porsche, 1985 Jaguar XJS, 1993 Land Rover Discovery, and a 1986 BMW e30.
