Description
Estate planning is not really about death—it is about making difficult moments easier for the people you love. This workshop explores what can happen when important decisions, documents, accounts, and wishes are not clearly organized or communicated. We look at the pieces of a thoughtful plan, with an emphasis on why each one matters. The goal is to reduce confusion, guesswork, and unnecessary stress for family members. We also talk about the emotional side of these conversations, including aging, control, and how to begin talking with loved ones before a crisis occurs. Attendees leave with a clearer understanding of what deserves attention and a few practical places to start.
This is part of the Financial Literacy Series with Placitas Community Library.
