A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) can be a great way to donate to a charity and reduce your tax burden at the same time.  QCDs are taken from your Required  Minimum Distribution, RMD, which is the distribution you are required to take from your Traditional IRA every year after your turn 73. As part of your financial planning, a QCD could be beneficial to you as well as to community organizations to which you are donating.  There are some complicated little caveats that are worth considering.  Join us to learn more.
